Manhattan Purple Stuff
When living in central Florida, I had a friend from Louisiana who swore by a concoction she carried around in a flask. She called it 'Purple Stuff,' and though the exact ingredients elude me, I do recall it had something to do with Mad Dog 20/20 and purple Kool Aid. I created a drink in honor of her and my Southern nights. Made from Domaine de Canton (a ginger liqueur) and grape juice. It tastes like "a cup of flowers" and goes great with brunch. Hence, the classy name.
